Description
The youth hostel with its 141 beds is located on the edge of Trausnitz with a wonderful view over the Pfreimdtal valley.
Medieval castle idyll in Trausnitz - Trausnitz is the insider's tip for all medieval fans: on the edge of the idyllic village proudly rises the castle in which part of the youth hostel is housed.t. Baking bread, making candles, blacksmithing - medieval crafts are on the program. A variety of building blocks on the theme of the Middle Ages will take you back to the time of knights and damsels in the courtyard of Trausnitz Castle. During the Christmas season, the historical Christmas market attracts visitors every two years, and during the year there are numerous medieval-reloaded programs. - The raised areas in the basement and on the 1st floor (Haus Feldschlößl and Burgtrakt) as well as on the 3rd floor (Burgtrakt) are only accessible via stairs with handrails.
