Bayern Tourismus Marketing GmbH (BayTM) is the official state marketing organisation of the Bavarian tourism and leisure industry.

The foundation of the state marketing organisation goes back to an initiative of the Free State of Bavaria. The GmbH is owned by six main and 22 other shareholders from the Bavarian tourism industry, whose interests it represents, among others. BayTM is institutionally funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy.
The task of BayTM is the tourism marketing of the entire Bavaria in all its diversity. All regions are strengthened as tourism and leisure destinations and guests are encouraged to stay in Bavaria.
The basis for this is the management and continuous development of the Bavarian tourism brand with the clear goal of anchoring Bavaria as a holiday destination in the relevant set of potential guests through inspiring stories and innovative ideas.
The focus of the marketing work is primarily on the German-speaking and selected international target markets.
