Hiking trail around the Luegsteinsee

Handicapped accessible 1 km long circular trail around the Luegstein Lake, which can be walked all year round and at the same time presents a central location.

Description

The accessible certified 1 km long circular trail around the Luegsteinsee is a wonderful hike, which is also passable in winter.

The Luegsteinsee is located in close proximity to the center of Oberaudorf and is therefore easily accessible without a car. A parking lot is also available at the lake for a small fee. The lake is embedded by rock walls, among other things, the show cave "Grafenloch" is located above the lake. Not far from the lake you can also find the historical house "Weber an der Wand", built against the rock face. A special offer for people with walking disabilities are the beach wheelchairs. With the help of the ramp, people with disabilities in the beach wheelchair can get into the refreshing water of the Luegstein Lake on hot summer days. For a snack or a cool drink, the kiosk offers a little something for everyone in the summer.
