Wandelhalle with 2 halls (reading and fountain hall / concert rotunda)
Description
The stylish concert rotunda invites almost daily to spa concerts with the Bad Reichenhall Philharmonic Orchestra and their friends. In addition, it is often used for a wide variety of events - exhibitions, concerts or even private celebrations take place in the imposing flair of the Rotunda. The Concert Rotunda owes its excellent acoustics not least to the column-bearing dome construction. In 1912, the neo-baroque building was built under Eugen Drollinger and in 2013 it was renovated with great sensitivity and restored according to historical models.
The Wandelhalle is directly connected to the AlpenSole-Gradierhaus in the Royal Spa Garden. The light-flooded, stylish room is home to the AlpenSole fountain and offers wonderful views of the gardens. Chairs and tables invite you to linger. Daily newspapers and readings are freely available and various chess boards invite you to play a game or two. For more information, visit https://www.bad-reichenhall.de/konzertrotunde-wandelhalle.
