Bischofsgruen forest adventure trail

Description

The forest adventure trail is located in the climatic health resort of Bischofsgrün in Upper Franconia. On the almost 1.5 km long circular trail, you can experience the forest with all your senses. The trail thus offers a great experience for adults and children alike. The forest adventure trail has various (11 in total) adventure stations. Between the touch path, tree telephone, tree species house, seepage test, xylophone and animal long jump pit, it invites you to marvel, listen, feel and learn.

  • The bus stop "Rathaus" is 500 m from the entrance/exit to the hiking trail.
  • There is a parking space for people with disabilities (in the centre of the village at the tourist information office, 500 m from the entrance/exit to the hiking trail). The parking space is at least 360 cm wide and 500 cm long.
  • The entrance to the hiking trail is at the end of the street "Am Hügelfelsen". It is possible to drive your car to just before the entrance to the trail and drop off passengers there.
  • The circular trail is 1.5 km long.
  • The adventure trail is accessible without steps. 
  • All areas and facilities that can be used and raised for guests are accessible without steps. Door thresholds are max. 1.5 cm high.
  • The trail is at least 160 cm wide.

  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
  • Both grab rails can be flipped-up. 
  • The washbasin is accessible from underneath at a height of 67 cm and a depth of at least 30 cm.
  • The mirror can be viewed while sitting or standing.
  • There is a cord as an alarm trigger.
