Vital Hotel an der Therme

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report. 

• There are two parking spaces for people with disabilities.
• All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible without steps/at ground level or via a ramp or elevator. 
• All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests are at least 88 cm wide.
• The reception counter is 117 cm high. There is another, equivalent means of communication while seated. 
• There are four barrier-free rooms.
• The WC in the room can be accessed from one side (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.  
• The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror is visible when standing or sitting.
• Access to the shower is barrier-free. A grab rail and a shower chair are available.
• There are tables that are max. 80 cm high and wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
• There is a public toilet for people with disabilities that can be accessed from one side (at least 80 cm). There is a folding grab rail on the accessible side of the toilet.
• The following aids are available: Wheelchair for using the thermal baths

•  Assistance dogs are welcome (costs: 15 EUR / day plus final cleaning 25 EUR).
• The signage (for orientation) is designed in easily legible and high-contrast lettering.
• All areas are brightly lit and glare-free. 
• There are four barrier-free rooms.
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically.
• The first and last step of a staircase are fitted with horizontal and vertical contrasting edges. 
• Stairs have a handrail on at least one side.
• Information is not available in Braille or prismatic writing.

• Wi-Fi is available.
• There are four barrier-free rooms available.
• There is a freely available socket near the bed.
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is only confirmed acoustically. Alternatively, stairs are available.
• In the breakfast area, there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, where there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact. There are no tables with low ambient noise.
