Picturesque nature and almost weightless water fun with the beach wheelchair

Oberaudorf in the south of the region, invites you to be active within its beautiful nature. The Lake Luegstein framed with spectacular rock walls lies close to the city center. The walking distance around the lake is about one kilometer. Above the lake there is a cave called the „Grafenloch“ and not far from there the historical house in the rock „Weber an der Wand“.

Summer, sun, waterfun! Afer the hike you can jump in the cool water and relax on the large lawn or on lounge chairs. Beach wheelchairs are available. The access to the water is possible over a ramp and the beach wheelchairs can be used for free. Barrier free changing rooms are available. A Beachvolleyball court and a kiosk provide variety and culinary delight.

The accommodation the Hotel and Country Inn Happinger Hof is located in the south part of Rosenheim / Happing. The family owned Hotel is situated in a quiet area and consists of two side by side buildings, with a country Inn and a beergarden. There are two barrier free rooms available.

Arrival and mobility

The nearest bus stop of the Rosenheim public transport "Alt-Happing" is located about 90 meters from the "Hotel and country inn Happinger Hof" and is within walking distance. From there, buses of line 3 go in the direction of the city center or to the train station. There are further connections by bus and train. The Luegsteinsee in Oberaudorf with hiking trail and barrier-free swimming is better reached by car.
