Nature and culture in the land of the "Osser giant" - discover the Lamer Winkel! 

Visit the lake park Arrach with 6,000 m² natural swimming lake, many great recreational opportunities and meadow orchard. 

A special highlight here: the Nature-Art-Parks Arrach, which are dedicated to the themes of nature, culture and crafts. For example, there is the water exploration trail with the artificial rock smoke tubes in the lake park, the moor nature trail through the Arrach moor or the climate terrain trail with art elements. 

If you want to learn more about the local animal world, then visit the Bavarian Forest Animal Park Lohberg at the foot of the Großer Arber. You can observe about 100 different animal species or about 400 animals of the Bavarian-Bohemian border region here. 

Arrival and mobility on site

You can arrive by car or comfortably by train. From the train station you can reach the accommodation by bus or taxi.   

In the National Park area you can also use the Igel bus. Many buses are low-floor. However, not all platforms and not all buses are barrier-free. If you are unsure, please contact the companies listed in the timetable before setting off!
