Description

 Dragonland Adventure - welcome to the dragon country around Furth im Wald! 

The oldest folk play in the world - the Further Drachenstich - is performed here every year. 

The main actor of the play, the Further dragon, is also the largest walking robot in the world!

And you can visit him! Namely in the dragon cave Furth im Wald. There you will learn everything about the dragon's sting and the robot's technology, before you can even experience the dragon in action during a guided tour.

Afterwards, you can cool off at the Silbersee lake near Tiefenbach or enjoy a relaxing walk on the circular path around the lake.

Arrival and mobility on site

You can arrive by car or comfortably by train. From the train station you can reach the accommodation by bus or taxi.   

In the National Park area you can also use the Igel bus. Many buses are low-floor. However, not all platforms and not all buses are barrier-free. If you are unsure, please contact the companies listed in the timetable before setting off!
