Bavarian Regio-Train: "Lint 81" railcar
Description
The trains run on the Ostallgäu-Lechfeld route network:
Munich-Buchloe-Füssen
Augsburg-Buchloe-Füssen
Augsburg-Landsberg am Lech
The trains comply with the EU-wide standard for accessibility and are also approved by the supervisory authority, the federal railway office. All passengers with reduced mobility are welcome on board and are supported in every respect. - All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests and are raised are accessible without steps/at ground level or via a ramp.
- All doors/passages and paths that can be used and are raised are at least 90 cm wide.
- All “Lint” trains have a passenger compartment with 2 designated spaces for wheelchairs.
- The high-floor area is only accessible via steps.
- There is a public toilet for people with disabilities, which can be accessed from one side (at least 80 cm). There is a folding grab rail on the accessible side.

- Outdoor paths usually have a visually contrasting and/or tactilely detectable walkway boundary.
- Assistance dogs are welcome.
- There is no guidance system with floor indicators inside the railcars.
- Stairs are visually and tactilely rich in contrast.
- The opening and closing of doors is announced acoustically.
- The operating elements (e.g. door handles, emergency call buttons) are visually rich in contrast and tactilely detectable almost everywhere.
- All areas are brightly lit and glare-free.
- Signage is designed in easily legible, visually contrasting lettering.
- Information is not available in Braille or prismatic writing.

- In the event of an emergency, there is an announcement on the train. Conductors provide additional information. There is no clearly visible alarm.
