Tourist-Information Veitshöchheim
Description
The Veitshöchheim Tourist Information Centre offers tourist information, a souvenir shop and a ticket service for events throughout Germany.
It is located directly on the Mainlände in the Mainfrankensäle (Main-Franconia Halls), which became famous nationwide thanks to the programme "Fastnacht in Franken". The premises are accessible from the Main via stairs. On the north side of the building, a lift takes you to the first floor and the tourist information office. Just a few metres away from the building is the beautifully landscaped promenade with a magnificent view of the Main, which is also home to the boat landing stages and several places to stop for a bite to eat. The well-known rococo garden with its summer palace and the old town of Veitshöchheim are also just a short walk away and are mostly barrier-free. The Veitshöchheim tourist information centre and most of the sights are supported by BFW SmartInfo. The train station is barrier-free, as are most of the bus stops in the town centre. Some have dynamic passenger displays with voice announcements at the touch of a button.
