Tourist Information & Ticket Service in the Falkenhaus

• The nearest tram stop ("Dom" stop) is approx. 150 m away. 
• There is a public underground car park (approx. 120 away).
• The entrance/access to the building is step-free (max. 2 cm threshold, via a ramp). 
• The ramp is at least 120 cm wide and has a maximum longitudinal incline of 5%.
• All rooms and facilities that can be used and raised for the guest are accessible without steps. Door thresholds are a maximum of 2 cm high. 
• Passages and doors are at least 95 cm wide.
• The information counter is 75 cm high at its lowest point. 
• There is a public restroom for people with disabilities in the city library that is accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). There is a fold-down grab bar on the accessible side of the restroom. 
• Guided tours for people with disabilities are offered. Pre-registration for the guided tour is required. 
• The entire guided tour route is step-free for wheelchair users. 
• Mobile or fixed seating is available for people with walking disabilities to use during the tour.

• Assistance dogs are welcome. 
• The entrance area is identifiable by a tactilely perceptible change of flooring. 
• The walkway from the entrance door to the counter is marked with tactile detectable markings.  
• The staircase has a high-contrast design and handrails on both sides. 
• All raised areas that can be used by guests (entrance area, cash desk/counter, bedrooms, corridors, hallways) are well lit, i.e. bright and glare-free.
• The signage is designed in easily legible lettering. There is good visual contrast between the lettering/pictogram and the background. 
• Guided tours for people with disabilities are offered. Pre-registration for the guided tour is necessary.  
• Touch exhibits are integrated during the guided tours.

• In the event of an acoustic alarm (e.g. fire alarm), there is a visually clearly perceptible flashing or blinking signal.
• There is an audio induction loop system at the reception/counter.

• Guided tours with FM systems are available for people with hearing disabilities (e.g. headphones, neck ring loops).
