Description
We are pleased to welcome you to our village. To make you feel at home right from the start, we will be happy to assist you personally with your wishes and questions. Roßhaupten am Forggensee lies 815m above sea level in the southern Allgäu, against the magnificent backdrop of the high mountain range of the Ammergebirge and the Tannheimer Berge. The world-famous castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau look down from there. Around Roßhaupten there is a dense network of hiking trails that is constantly being extended and improved. Roßhaupten alone has around 60 km of marked hiking trails, some of which are circular and up to 15 km long.
