Tourist Information Regensburg Rathausplatz

Description

The Tourist Information in Regensburg is located in the heart of the old town in the historic Old Town Hall - a 15-minute walk from the main train station. The spacious Tourist Information is barrier-free accessible via an automatic door and has an electric lift. A lowered counter and an induction system are available. Visitors can find information about the city, a ticket service for events and guided tours, as well as tips for excursions. Consultations are possible on site, by telephone or by e-mail. The Euro key is available to borrow for a nearby restroom. Information in plain language is available in print and online, and information in German sign language is available at www.tourismus.regensburg.de .   • The Altes Rathaus bus stop is 100 meters away.
  • All rooms and facilities that are accessible to guests are step-free/at ground level or accessible via a lift.
  • All doors/passages that are accessible to guests are at least 80 cm wide.
  • There is a lowered counter.
  • Most exhibits and information can be viewed while seated.
  • There is a public restroom for people with disabilities, which is accessible from both sides (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab bars to the left and right of the restroom.
  • Guided tours are offered for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users. Advance registration is required. 
  • Mobile or fixed seating is available for people with walking disabilities, which can be used during the tour.

  • The entrance area is designed with high visual contrast.
  • Signage (for orientation) is designed in easily legible, high-contrast font.

  • Exhibits that can be touched are integrated into the guided tours.
