Tourist information in the town hall Schönau a. Königssee
Description
In the middle of the Unterstein district of the municipality of Schönau a. Königssee, surrounded by the Bavarian Alpine idyll, lies the town hall and the Schönau a. Königssee tourist information office.
After opening the sensor-controlled entrance door in the town hall, visitors are greeted by an inviting wall full of brochures, some of which are accessible at seat height. Brochures on barrier-free excursion destinations, hikes, museums and other offers are displayed there, replenished daily and kept up to date. Visitors can take their time to get an overview and then go directly to the tourist information office if they have any further questions. There, friendly, trained staff are waiting to make the guest's vacation easier, to provide comprehensive information and, if necessary, to find accommodation at short notice. In close cooperation with the hosts, a pleasant atmosphere is created in the tourist information office, which should ensure an all-round satisfying vacation experience as required.

- There are two parking spaces for people with disabilities.
- All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests and are raised are accessible without steps/at ground level or via an elevator.
- All doors/passages that can be used by guests and are raised are at least 90 cm wide.
- The counter is 76 cm high at its lowest point. There is no alternative means of communication while seated.
- There is a public WC for people with disabilities, which can be accessed from both sides (at least 90 cm). There are folding grab rails on both sides.
- The music pavilion is equipped with benches for concerts. It can be reached at ground level without steps from the tourist information office, from the parking lot and from the bus stop "Rathaus Unterstein".
