At its feet lies the traditional climatic health resort of Aschau im Chiemgau, which has been serving as a relaxing domicile for "summer visitors" and winter vacationers alike for over 130 years. - There is a parking space for people with disabilities (parking space size 350 cm x 500 cm; distance to entrance approx. 30 m). The surface of the car park consists of cobblestones and is not easy to walk or drive on.

- The access to the building is via a 3 cm high threshold.
- The sales counter with checkout area is 104 cm high. There is another possibility of communication while sitting.
- All rooms that can be used by the guest are accessible at ground level.

Public toilet for people with disabilities
- The toilet is located 60 m from the Tourist Information. There are two 3 cm high thresholds to pass on the way.
- The toilet has to be opened with a Euro key.
- The manoeuvring spaces next to the toilet are:
left 35 cm x 53 cm, right 16cm x 53 cm,
in front of the toilet or washbasin 150 cm x 103 cm. - Handles are available on the both sides of the toilet, the one on the left can be folded up.
- The washbasin is wheelchair compatible at a depth of less than 30 cm.
- The mirror can be seen while sitting or standing.
