Description

The Sankt Oswald Riedlhütte Tourist Information Centre is centrally located in the holiday region, right next to the Bavarian Forest National Park. Here, in the beautiful Rachel-Lusen area, lies the historic glassmaking village of Riedlhütte, not far from the district of Sankt Oswald, which is steeped in monastic history. Access to the Tourist Information Centre is barrier-free, offering people with physical, sensory or cognitive impairments a reliable point of contact for all queries regarding their stay. On site, guests receive personalised advice on excursions, hiking trails, accessible facilities and leisure activities in the region. In addition, there is a selection of souvenirs, hiking equipment and information materials displayed in an easily accessible manner. The Tourist Information Centre sees itself as a service-oriented, inclusive place where all visitors can find support for a relaxed and well-planned holiday.

  • The Riedlhütte Schule/Touristinfo bus stop is located 70 meters away.
  • All rooms and facilities accessible to guests are either step-free/at ground level or accessible via a ramp. 
  • There are no slopes steeper than 7%.
  • All doors and passageways accessible to guests are at least 90 cm wide.
  • The service counter/information desk is 106 cm high. An alternative means of communication while seated is available.
  • Most information is visible while seated.
  • A public restroom for people with disabilities is available, which is accessible from both sides (at least 90 cm). The grab bars in the restroom can be folded up.
