Destination Bavarian Forest
Description
The Bavarian Forest - refreshingly natural!
The Bavarian Forest is almost entirely under nature and landscape protection. Wild waters, gorges, primeval forests and the omnipresent granite stone characterise this landscape formed over millions of years. Here you can visit Germany's last primeval forest and the first national park, experience pristine nature parks, climb more than 130 peaks over a thousand metres, celebrate traditions and festivals and try out the most varied outdoor and leisure activities. The Bavarian Forest means unspoilt nature, shady forests, flowering meadows, rugged rocky landscapes and honest, warm-hearted people. Time has not stood still here, but it is a gift that brings more peace and serenity - time to feel good, enjoy your holiday, come back again.
