Tour Me Chieming offers barrier-free tours that allow everyone to enjoy the beauty of the region. Our tours are designed to meet the needs of wheelchair users and people with mobility impairments.

During the tour you can admire the impressive Chiemsee landscape and also take a detour to the surrounding islands. Cultural highlights such as the Frauenwörth Monastery or Herrenchiemsee Castle are also part of our tours.

  • The bus stop Chieming "Tankstelle" is approx. 200 m away.
  • A parking space for people with disabilities is available in approx. 130 m. A parking space is at least 240 cm wide and 500 cm long. 
  • Access to the building and the customer room is possible without steps via the main entrance and the side entrance (from the car park).
  • Doors and passageways are at least 90 cm wide.
  • There is a 19% incline in the bicycle rental room over a length of 200 cm.
  • Wheelchair tricycle "OPair": The O-Pair is suitable for children, young people and adults who are unable to cycle themselves due to a physical disability. The spring-mounted and universal seat shell can be adjusted in many different ways. The front part can be detached from the bicycle in just a few steps, so that it can be used as a wheelchair on site at any time. A child seat (seat shell) is also available for small children.
  • Parallel or duo tricycle "Fun2Go": With the parallel or duo tricycle Fun2Go you sit next to each other. One steers, both can pedal. Barrier-free access for easy sitting, the seats can be adjusted to the desired distance.
  • "Easy Rider" and "Easy Rider Junior" rehab tricycles: The Easy Rider / Easy Rider Junior rehab tricycles are particularly suitable for people with a high need for safety, with balance disorders, for MS and stroke patients, prosthesis wearers, etc. The low entry and a low centre of gravity, the comfortable seat with adjustable back support and a completely different cycling posture are the most important differences to normal bicycles and tricycles. The Easy Rider Junior is suitable for children from 7 years of age.
  • Pedelecs (electric bikes) and bicycles can also be rented.

  • Indoors and outdoors there is no guidance system with floor indicators.
  • The entrance area is visually contrasted to the surrounding area and can be tactilely detected by a changing of the floor covering.
  • At the main entrance there is a glass door without safety markings.
  • Assistance dogs are allowed.
  • Signs are designed in legible, visually contrast-rich font.
  • There is no information in Braille or prismatic writing.
