Theater in the Spa Guest Center

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities". 

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

• The distance from the bus stop "Wittelsbacherstr." to the theater entrance is approx. 120 m. The path is easy to walk and driven on.
• There is a parking space for people with disabilities (parking space size 390 cm x 500 cm) in the underground car park. The elevator to the theater has a cabin size of 136 cm x 134 cm.
• Access to the building is stepless (threshold height: 2 cm).
• All evaluated rooms and facilities usable by the guest are stepless or accessible by elevator or ramp (exception: tables in the "Warsteiner Boulevard" restaurant are accessible via one step)
• The manoeuvring space in front of the checkout is 150 cm x 85 cm. The counter is 100 cm high. There is an equivalent possibility of communication when sitting.
• The theater hall can be reached stepless via a ramp. The maximum longitudinal inclination of the ramp is 7.5 % (length 2 m, running width: 120 cm).
• During the events in the theater hall, service staff is always available to help to reach the visitor seats. There are four designated wheelchair places in the theater.
• There are two elevators. Elevator 1 has a door width of 80 cm and a cabin size of 136 cm x 134 cm. Elevator 2 has a door width of 79 cm and a cabin size of 105 cm x 137 cm.
• In the conference rooms there are manoeuvring spaces of 150 cm x 150 cm.

Basement: Public WC

• There is a unisex restroom available.
• The movement areas are: in front of the sink 126 cm x 121 cm; in front of the WC 121 cm x 126 cm; to the left of the WC 71 cm x 54 cm; to the right of the WC 65 cm x 54 cm.
• There is a folding grab bar to the left of the WC.
• The washbasin is wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of at least 30 cm.

• Assistance dogs are allowed.
• The signage is designed in clearly legible, visually contrasting font
• There is no information in Braille or prismatic writing.
• There is no guidance system with ground indicators for indoor and outdoor use. In indoor areas, the walls can be used as orientation guidelines to a limited extent only.
• In the elevators (alternative: stairs), the stopping position is not announced by spoken commands.
• Staircases are predominantly not visually rich in contrast or tactilely detectable.

• An outgoing emergency call in the elevators (alternative: stairs) is confirmed audibly, but not visibly.
• There is no audio induction loop or other technical aids (such as FM systems).
• There are tables with bright and glare-free lighting.
• There are tables where there are no lamps standing or hanging that restrict the field of vision or eye contact.

• The name and logo of the company are clearly recognizable from the outside.
• The checkout counter is directly visible from the entrance.
• There is no uninterrupted colored or pictorial guidance system.
