Theater in the Spa Guest Center

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities". 

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

• There is a parking space available for people with disabilities.
• The “Wittelsbacherstr.” bus stop is located approximately 120 meters from the theater entrance and is accessible via a path that is easily navigable on foot or by vehicle.
• All areas and facilities available to guests are either step-free/at ground level or accessible via a ramp or elevator. (Exception: Tables in the “Warsteiner Boulevard” restaurant are accessible via a single step).
• Ramps have a maximum longitudinal slope of 7.5%. Ramps are at least 120 cm wide.
• The entrance/access to the building is step-free.
• The counter/reception desk/cash register is 85 cm high at its lowest point. 
• During events in the theater auditorium, service staff are always on site to assist visitors in reaching their seats. There are four designated wheelchair spaces in the theater.
• The conference rooms feature manoeuvring spaces measuring 150 cm x 150 cm. 
• A public restroom for people with disabilities is available, which is accessible from one side (minimum 70 cm). A fold-down grab bar is provided on the accessible side of the restroom.

• Assistance dogs are welcome.
• The entrance area is designed with high visual contrast.
• Signage (for wayfinding) is designed with clearly legible, high-contrast lettering.
• All elevated areas accessible to guests are illuminated with bright, glare-free lighting.
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed by an audible signal.
• Steps do not have high-contrast edges.
• Staircases have at least a one-sided handrail.
• Information is not available in Braille or raised lettering.

• There is no audio induction loop or other technical aids (such as FM systems).
• There are tables with bright and glare-free lighting.
