Description
The Tegelbergbahn is a 2146 m long cable car that is located on the picturesque eponymous mountain near Schwangau and overcomes a height of 892.5 m. On the Tegelberg is the former hunting lodge of King Ludwig II, which, together with the large sun terrace of the panorama restaurant, offers an overwhelming view of the surroundings. Here you will find cleared hiking trails as well as a paraglider launch site. Aviation enthusiasts can take them into the air with professional paragliders.

- The bus stop is 40 metres away.
- There are four parking spaces for people with disabilities.
- Access to the valley and mountain station is possible without steps via a ramp.
- All rooms and facilities that can be used and raised for guests are accessible without steps or via ramps.
- Ramps are at least 129 cm wide and have a maximum longitudinal gradient of 5.6 %.
- It is possible to enter and exit the cable car without steps. The manoeuvring spaces for wheelchair users in the cable car are at least 150 cm x 150 cm.
- Passages and doors are at least 90 cm wide.
- The cash desk is 103 cm high at the lowest point.
- There are 21 wheelchair accessible tables in the catering areas (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm).
- There are two public restrooms for people with disabilities, each of which is accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). There is a fold-down grab bar at least on the accessible side of the restroom.

- Glass doors are provided with no safety markings at a height of 40-70 cm and 120-160 cm.
- Entrance areas are visually contrasting with the surroundings.
- Stairs have handrails on both sides.
- There are no floor indicators in the indoor and outdoor areas.
- All raised areas that can be used by guests (entrance area, cash desk, corridors, hallways) are well lit, i.e. bright and glare-free.
- Signage designed in legible lettering. There is good visual contrast between the lettering/pictogram and the background.

- In case of fire alarm there is no visually clearly perceptible alarm.
- There is no inductive hearing system
- There are 21 tables in the food service area with bright, glare-free lighting and no lamps on or hanging from them that interfere with the visual field or eye contact. There is with low ambient noise.
