  • There is a parking space for people with disabilities in Herrengasse (parking space size: 200 cm x 570 cm) at a distance of 50 m from the meeting point of the city tour.
  • The surface of the car park is low-vibration and easy to walk and drive on. 
  • There is a parking space for people with disabilities at the market halls (space size: 350 cm x 500 cm) at a distance of 70 m from the meeting point of the city tour.
  • The surface condition of the car park is not low-vibration and not easy to walk or drive over. 
  • The car park is 50 m away from the entrance.
  • The meeting point for the guided tour is in front of the town hall at Marienplatz 2 in Wasserburg. Alternatively, the city tour can also start at the car park "Am Gries". There are barrier-free toilets there that are accessible with a Eurokey (approx. 260 metres from the main entrance to the town hall).
  • The meeting point is accessible without steps. 
  • The entire route of the guided tour is step-free for wheelchair users. 
  • The city tour lasts approx. 60 minutes.
  • The city tour runs for approx. 600 m and is only partially low-vibration and easy to walk and drive on in terms of surface condition (longer stretches over historic cobblestones).
  • Exterior paths are at least 150 cm wide and have a maximum longitudinal gradient of approx. 6%. 
  • Stations are visible, perceptible or recognisable when seated. 
  • Guided tours for people with disabilities are offered. Pre-registration for the guided tour is necessary. 
  • Mobile or fixed seating is available for people with walking disabilities to use during the tour.

Public toilet in the town hall

  • Access to the building is possible via the side entrance without steps (max. 2 cm threshold, if necessary via a ramp). 
  • Doors are at least 90 cm wide.
  • There is a door threshold with a height of 3.5 cm.
  • The toilet is accessible without steps via a lift. 
  • The lift cabin is 110 cm x 140 cm.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of the washbasin 150 cm x 200 cm;
    in front of the toilet 200 cm x 200 cm;
    to the left of the toilet 88 cm x 70 cm;
    to the right of the toilet 200 cm x 70 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
  • Both grab rails can be flipped-up. 
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible. It is 67 cm high and at least 30 cm deep.
  • The mirror can be seen while sitting or standing.
  • There is a cord as an alarm trigger.

  • Assistance dogs (guide dogs, guide dogs for the blind, etc.) may be brought into all relevant areas/rooms of the offer.
  • During the guided tours, exhibits are integrated for touching. 
  • Information about the exhibits, the history of the city, etc. will be conveyed acoustically. There is also tactile information (tactile model of the city).
