  • There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm, distance to the entrance: 25 m).
  • Entrance accessible without thresholds or steps. 
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by the guest are at ground level or can be reached by an elevator.
  • The cabins of elevators 1 (UG-EG-OG) and 2 (UG-EG intermediate level) are 109 cm x 140 cm in size. 
  • The information desk with cash register is 92 cm to 116 cm high. 
  • All public doors and passageways are at least 90 cm wide (exception: passageway to multivision room: 80 cm)
  • The exhibits and the associated information are predominantly visible and legible while sitting.
  • Aids offered: portable museum chairs
  • Technical possibilities of information transfer: App, films, audio guide
  • Guided tours are offered for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users. Seating is available. The guided tour is suitable for wheelchair users. Reservation required.
  • In the guest room "nunó" there are tables which can be driven under.

Public toilet for people with disabilities

  • The manoeuvring space in the sanitary room are left and right more then 90 cm x 70 cm. In front of the toilet and washbasin at least 150 cm x 150 cm.
  • At the toilet there are handles that can be folded up on both sides. 
  • The washbasin has limited access.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.

  • Assistance dogs are allowed.
  • The main entrance is visually contrasted with the surroundings and can be recognized by a tactile change of floor covering.
  • Glass doors are usually marked with safety markings. There are no revolving doors.
  • In elevators 1 and 2, the outgoing emergency call is confirmed audibly. Alternatively, low-contrast stairways with handrails are available. The stopping position is announced by speech.
  • Operating elements are predominantly visually rich in contrast, but can only be captured tactilely in isolated cases.
  • In the exhibition, the well-lit exhibits contrast visually with their surroundings. Information on the exhibits is partly conveyed acoustically.
  • Essential walkways are predominantly visually rich in contrast and partly tactilely detectable.
  • There are no obstacles, e.g. objects protruding into the path / room.
  • An audio guide is available to provide information. The site plan (as a diagram) of the museum can be captured tactilely.
  • Guided tours are offered for visually impaired people and blind people. Exhibits are integrated to be touched. Reservation required.

  • There is no audio induction loop at the counter.
  • In the elevator, the outgoing emergency call is confirmed audibly, not optically.
  • In the exhibition, information on the exhibits is provided in writing.
  • Technical possibilities of information transfer: App, films.
  • No guided tours are offered for people with hearing disabilities and deaf people.
  • In the "nunó" guest room there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps or hanging that restrict the field of vision. Seating areas with low background noises are available.

  • The objectives of the routes are usually within sight or there is an uninterrupted guidance system.
  • There is no colored or pictorial guidance system.

  • The contents of the guided tours are explained in a way that is easy to understand (e.g. visually). Reservation required.
