Description
The State Theater Augsburg offers pieces from the fields of music theater, concert, drama and ballet as well as digital theater. The schedule is varied. Tickets are available in advance at the box office at the Tourist-Information Augsburg, online at the webshop or, if still available, at the box office at the venue. Admission begins 60 minutes before the start of the performance.
The venue is located on company premises. You can get there by bike, car or public transport. The entrance to the venue can be reached on foot or with the paid theater shuttle (stops at City-Galerie and Textilmuseum, 0,50€ per trip). - All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests and are raised are accessible without steps/at ground level or via a ramp.
- All doors/passages that can be used by guests and are raised are at least 90 cm wide.
- The lowest point of the box office counter is 110 cm high. There is another, equivalent means of communication while seated.
- There are 6 designated seats for wheelchair users in the theater hall.
- In the catering area (foyer catering) there are 9 wheelchair compatible tables (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm).
- There is a public toilet for people with disabilities, which can be accessed from both sides. There are folding grab rails on both sides.
- A cord is available as an alarm trigger.

- Assistance dogs (companion dogs, guide dogs for the blind, etc.) may be brought into all relevant areas/rooms of the establishment/offerings. Pre-registration with the visitor service is requested.
- The entrance area is recognisable by a tactilely perceptible change of flooring.
- All raised areas that can be used by guests (entrance area, box office/counter, dormitories, corridors, hallways) are well lit, i.e. bright and glare-free.

- The signage is designed in clearly legible lettering. There is a good visual contrast between the lettering/pictogram and the background.
