Description
The national theatre Augsburg shows stage plays in the fields of music theatre, concert, drama and ballet as well as digital theatre. The repertoire is varied and admission begins 60 minutes before the start of the performance. Tickets are available in advance at the box office at the Tourist-Information Augsburg, online at the webshop of the theater and, if still available, at the box office at the venue.
The stage "Brechtbühne im Ofenhaus" can easily be reached by car, direction via public transport is also possible. On performance days a shuttle from the station Oberhausen to the stage is offered. Please find further information unter www.staatstheater-augsburg.de.

- There are nine parking spaces for people with disabilities.
- All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible without steps/at ground level or via an elevator. The exception is a 3 cm high threshold between the parking garage and the entrance.
- All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests are at least 90 cm wide.
- There are two designated seats for wheelchair users in the theater hall.
- The lowest point of the box office counter is 105 cm high.
- The catering counter in the foyer is 91 cm high at its lowest point.
- The checkroom counter is 92 cm high at its lowest point.
- There is a public toilet for people with disabilities, which can be accessed from at least one side (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails on both sides.
- A cord is available as an alarm trigger.

- Assistance dogs are welcome. Please register in advance with the visitor service.
- The signage (for orientation) is designed in easily legible and high-contrast lettering.
- There is a good contrast between the lettering and pictograms on the signage.
- All areas are brightly lit and glare-free.
- Control elements are tactile.
- There are no visually high-contrast or tactile floor indicators.
- An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically. The stopping position is announced by voice in the elevator.
- Stairs have a handrail on both sides. The steps are not visually rich in contrast.
- Audio descriptions for blind and visually impaired people are offered for some productions in the program. During the performance, the visual events on stage are spoken live and transmitted to an individual receiver. Beforehand, costumes, props and parts of the stage set can also be touched during an exclusive introduction. The relevant performances are announced online in the performance schedule and in the Leporello.
- People with hearing impairments can receive amplified sound from the stage in the Brechtbühne using the T-coil of their hearing aid.

- Information is provided in writing.
- Wi-Fi is available.

- Selected productions are supported by professional sign language interpreters.
