 Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report. 

  • There are 2 parking spaces for people with disabilities. One parking space is at least 250 cm wide and 500 cm long.
  • The parking space is 20 m from the entrance.
  • There is a local transport stop (name: bus stop "Ludwigstraße") 60 m away.  
  • The entrance is accessible via three steps or via a mobile ramp. 
  • The mobile ramp at the entrance is 170 cm long, 80 cm wide and has a  maximum gradient of 34 %.
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used and raised for guests are accessible without steps or via lifts and ramps. Door thresholds are a maximum of 3 cm high. 
  • Ramps are at least 80 cm wide and have a  maximum gradient of 11%.
  • Lift 1: Lift cars are at least 119 cm x 202. Lift doors are at least 90 cm wide.
  • Lift 2 (new construction): The lift cars are at least 112 cm x 140. The lift doors are at least 90 cm wide.
  • Doors and passages are at least 80 cm wide (exceptions: Room no. 133 with 71 cm and sauna area with partly less than 60 cm).
  • The counter/cash register is 79 cm high at the lowest point. 
  • There is another, equivalent communication option available while seated. 
  • In the catering areas, wheelchair accessible tables are available (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm). 
  • Indoor swimming pool: There are flat steps with handrails to enter the pool.
  • Exterior pathways are at least 180 cm wide and have a maximum gradient of 10 %.
  • There is no public toilet designed for people with disabilities. 

Room no. 133 (1st floor, double room)Doors are at least 71 cm wide.

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 150 cm x 105 cm;
    to the left of the bed 56 cm x 170 cm;
    to the right of the bed 224 cm x 170 cm.
  • The bed is 56 cm high.
  •  The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of the washbasin 154 cm x 84 cm;
    in front of the toilet 83 cm x 125 cm;
    to the left of the toilet 23 cm x 52 cm;
    to the right of the toilet 25 cm x 52 cm.
  • The sink has limited access. 
  • The shower is not steplessly available. There is a threshold of 12 cm. 
  • The shower / shower surface is 67 cm x 89 cm.
  • A shower seat is available or can be provided if required. 

Room no. 254 (2nd floor in the new building; double room) 

  • Doors are at least 81 cm wide.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 170 cm x 112 cm;
    to the left of the bed 82 cm x 204 cm;
    216 cm x 204 cm to the right of the bed.
  • The bed is 57 cm high.
  • The manoeuvring space in the bathroom are:
    in front of the washbasin 160 cm x 104 cm;
    in front of the toilet 81 cm x 170 cm;
    to the left of the toilet 22 cm x 56 cm;
    to the right of the toilet 27 cm x 56 cm.
  • The sink has limited access. 
  • The mirror can be seen while sitting or standing.
  • The shower is accessible without steps.  
  • The shower / shower area is 91 cm x 119 cm.
  • A shower seat is available or can be provided if required.

  • There is no audio induction loop system.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly, but not visually.
  • WiFi is offered. 
  • There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.    
  • In the restaurant areas there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.

  • The name or logo of the establishment is clearly recognisable from the outside. 
  • The reception desk is directly visible from the entrance door or the way to it is marked pictorially and without interruption.
  • A business card with the address and telephone number of the hotel is visibly displayed at the reception desk or in the bedroom.
  • There is no information in easy language.
