Circular trail around the Mittersee in the Faulenbach valley

Description

Away from the nearby, lively old town of Füssen, the circular trail around the Mittersee lake immerses you in the tranquil idyll of the Faulenbacher Tal valley.

Passing the Kneipp meadow, the hiking trail in the Faulenbach valley leads around the Mittersee lake and invites you to enjoyable rest breaks with picturesque views. The entire Faulenbach Valley is a landscape conservation area, which is evident at first glance: species-rich flower meadows, idyllic lakes and enchanted forests demonstrate the natural beauty of the place. Thus, each of the numerous benches along the way offers a welcome opportunity to linger. At Mittersee, a cosy break on the terrace or in the parlour can be taken at the Waldwirtschaft from March to October.
