Description

Circular walk from Tourist Information Füssen, past the Theresienhof, to the King Ludwig Promenade with a view of Neuschwanstein Castle and Lake Forggensee. Accessible café Mar y Sol halfway along the route. Return along the Lech. Detour to the accessible skate and bike area possible.

  • The circular route is approx. 5.1 km long. 
  • The circular route is step-free and accessible.
  • The circular route is predominantly 200 cm wide. The narrowest width is 100 cm over approx. 30 m. 
  • The circular route is mainly easy to walk and cycle on (e.g. asphalt, concrete paving). 
  • The circular route is predominantly flat. There are longitudinal gradients of up to 14% over 12 m. 
  • The circular route is also predominantly designated for other users (e.g. hikers/walkers, skaters, horse riders).
  • Large parts of the cycle path are car-free or almost car-free (separate cycle paths, business, forestry and agricultural roads or 30 km/h speed zones, traffic-calmed zones and roads). 
  • Unsecured crossings of roads used by motor vehicles are necessary.
  • The path is signposted throughout. 
  • There are public restrooms for people with disabilities at the P5 parking garage and at the Foggersee boat harbor.
