Circular hiking trail SR3

Description

The 3.5 km long, wheelchair accessible circular hiking trail SR3 leads in the extensive, near-natural park along the Aubach and Islinger Mühlbach streams through meadows and wooded areas.

The circular hiking trail SR3 leads past a sulfur spring discovered 100 years ago, in which unique microorganisms cavort. With a bit of luck, a beaver can be seen in action or deer in the wild. The trail starts and ends at the playground at the corner of Kirchfeldallee and Jupiterstraße - right next to the Römerstraße bus stop on line 7. There is a bistro across the street where you can stop for a bite to eat; the restroom there is barrier-free. Parking is also available in the immediate vicinity.
