Silver Lake circular trail

Description

The circular hiking trail around the
Silver Lake in the Bavarian Forest leads romantically along the shore, with the water always in view.

The Silver Lake on the Bavarian Schwarzach between Treffelstein and Tiefenbach invites you to relax. The newly designed circular hiking trail is around 7 kilometers long and offers more than just a leisurely stroll. Three beaches with sunbathing lawns invite you to linger and there are benches and covered rest areas at regular intervals. Rare plants can be discovered in the surrounding wet meadows. A nature observation station has been set up to observe the birds and other animals. You can learn more about the animals and plants with the help of information boards along the trail, which are also designed for people with visual impairments. Guided tours take place several times a year with the nature park ranger, who also knows the hidden features.
