Rhön Rundweg 6 Sinntal (circular hiking trail)

Description

The 4 km long walk runs through the tranquil Sinn Valley in the Wiesengrund and also leads to a beaver platform with a view of the waters of the Sinn. Not far from the parking lot is the natural monument the "King Ludwig Oak" and also the contemplative garden in the state bath Brückenau invites you to linger.

  • The entire route is 3.91 km long.
  • The tour starts at the Staatsbad car park.
  • There are no designated parking spaces for people with disabilities.
  • The path is stepless.
  • The path leads mainly along gravel or asphalt paths. Partial areas are paved. The path is easy to moderate and passable.
  • The path is usually at least 180 cm wide. The narrowest width of the path is 148 cm.
  • There are some gradients and inclines along the path that have to be passed. The maximum gradient is up to 17 % on 11 m.
  • There are danger points in partial sections, such as sloping places or embankments.
  • The path is also marked for cyclists, skaters etc. or riders.
  • The path does not lead on a road with traffic.
  • An unsecured crossing of a road with motor vehicles is necessary.
  • Seating is available at distances of up to 500 metres.
  • The way is continuously signposted.
  • The information (information boards and signposts) are mainly readable and viewable while seated.

  • The viewing platform is accessible via a 200 m long path.
  • There are 19 steps.
  • The path is easy to walk and drive on.
