Panorama 2962

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities and partially accessible for wheelchair users".

• The "Panorama 2962" is located at the mountain station of the Zugspitzbahn and can be reached by cable car Zugspitze.
• All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible or via an elevator.
• The elevator cabin (top station) measures 175 cm x 267 cm. The elevator door is 150 cm wide.
• Almost all evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
• The cash desk is 120 cm high.  
• The counter in the restaurants are 88 cm high.
• There are no wheelchair accessible tables available in the restaurants (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

Public toilet for people with disabilities

• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of/behind the door, in front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 280 cm x 135 cm;
  left of the toilet 96 cm x 70 cm and right of the toilet 27 cm x 70 cm.
• There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rail on the left can be flipped-up.
• The sink is wheelchair compatible.
• The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
• An alarm trigger is available.

• The "Panorama 2962" can be reached at the mountain station of the Zugspitzbahn and with the cable car Zugspitze.
• Assistance dogs are allowed in relevant areas/rooms.
• The entrances are visually rich in contrast.
• All evaluated and usable areas for the guest are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.
• There are no visually contrasting or tactilely detectable floor indicators available.
• The signage is designed in clearly legible, but not contrast-rich typeface.
• There are glass doors without safety markings.
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly. The break position in the elevator is not announced by spoken commands. The operating controls in the elevator are visually rich in contrast and tactilely detectable.
• Alternatively stairs are available.
• Steps are not visually rich in contrast.
• Stairs have handrails on both sides.
• There is no menu available in large print or braille.

• There is no clearly visible alarm.
• There is no audio induction loop system.
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly. 
• Alternatively stairs are available. 
• In the restaurants there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact. 
• There is a seating area with low background noises in the restaurants Gipfelstube and Gipfelblick (e.g. corner seating, separate room).
