Four-legged friends are very welcome in the Oberstdorf Residence! Spend your vacation with dog in our 5-star pawsome paradise. You live in an excellent location just a few minutes walk from the village center. The suites of Residence 2 are modernly equipped with spacious balconies and terraces. Spend entertaining hours in the billiard room, work out in the fitness center or relax in the indoor pool with steam sauna. Our younger guests will get their money's worth in the games room. Fast internet and telephone calls to German landlines are free of charge, as is the use of the mountain railroads as part of the "Bergbahnticket inklusive" program during the summer months. Residence 2 (generally)

  • There is no parking space available for people with disabilities in the underground car park (parking space size: 230 cm x 530 cm; distance to the entrance approx. 9 m).
  • Access to the entrance of Residence 2 is via a 3 cm high threshold.
  • The holiday apartments and all rooms that can be used by the guest are steplessly accessible or can be reached via an elevator. There are door thresholds (including thresholds of 5 cm for the terrace of the holiday home and thresholds of 4 cm in the leisure area).
  • The elevator has a cabin size of 110 cm x 140 cm. The operating elements are not arranged on a horizontal control panel.
  • In the swimming pool there are flat steps with handrails for access to the pool, but no person lift or ramp or elevated pool edge at seat height above the pool perimeter.
  • There are doors with less than 70 cm width in the sauna and swimming area (sauna, public toilet is).

Holiday apartment type 1: Tanzanite Suite (ground floor)

  • Some doors and passages are less than 70 cm wide (sanitary areas).
  • In bedroom 1, the manoeuvring spaces are:
    • in front of essential immobile furnishings at least 200 cm x 101 cm,
    • 101 cm x 178 cm on the left and 94 cm x 178 cm on the right of the bed.
  • In bedroom 2, the manoeuvring spaces are:
    • in front of essential immobile furnishings at least 84 cm x 86 cm,
    • 192 cm x 187 cm on the left and 111 cm x 187 cm on the right of the bed.
  • The bed is 54 cm high incl. mattress.
  • In the kitchen living area the dining table is wheelchair accessible, the sideboard/worktop, sink and stove, however, are not. The manoeuvring space in front of the kitchen unit is 100 cm x 190 cm.
  • The bathrooms are not barrier-free (e.g. no handles, no manoeuvring space next to the toilet).
  • There are two other apartments designed like type 1 holiday apartment (similar floor plans and manoeuvring spaces): Bernstein Suite (second floor) and Rubin Suite (attic).

  • Assistance dogs are not allowed.
  • The entrance to Residence 2 is visually rich in contrast and can be recognized by a tactile change of floor covering. 
  • There is a glass door without safety markings.
  • The entrance to the respective holiday apartments is visually rich in contrast and can be recognized by a tactile change in the floor covering.
  • In the elevator, the stopping position is not announced by spoken commands. The operating elements are available in Braille or prismatic writing.
  • There are no visually contrasting step surfaces on stairways.

  • In the swimming pool of the Residence there are flat steps with handrails to enter the pool.

  • In the case of an acoustic alarm (e.g. fire alarm) there is no clearly optically perceptible alarm.
  • There is no audio induction loop.
  • The emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically, but not visibly.
  • There is at least one freely available electrical outlet near the bed.
  • WIFI access is available for communication with the service staff.
  • Knocking at the apartment door and ringing of the telephone are not indicated by a flashing signal.
