The NaturparkWelten (Nature Park Worlds) in the Bayerisch Eisenstein border station house five different exhibition levels that illustrate the diversity of the Bavarian Forest Nature Park in an informative, impressive and exciting way. All exhibitions are barrier-free.

The restaurant Grenzbahnhof "Vo'Gunders", in the 1st class waiting room from 1877, invites you to a refreshment after visiting the exhibitions - whether food and drinks or coffee with cake.

  • There is one marked parking space for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm).
  • Nearby is the bus stop "Grenzbahnhof Bayerisch Eisenstein".
  • The building is steplessly accessible via a track side and a treshold of 2 cm (Czech side). A mobile ramp is available.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are stepless or accessible via elevators.
  • The main elevator cabin measures 108 cm x 138 cm. The elevator door is 90 cm wide.
  • The elevator cabin of the elevator to the wine bar measures 100 cm x 127 cm. The elevator door is 90 cm wide.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
  • The exhibits are predominately visible while sitting.

  • There are wheelchair accessible tables in the restaurant "Naturparkwirtshaus" (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).
  • Guided tours for people with walking impairments and wheelchair users are offered on request. A reservation in advance is necessary.
  • Mobile or fixed seats are available for people with walking disabilities, which can be used during the guided tour.
  • The entire route of the guided tour is steplessly accessible for wheelchair users.

  • The maneuvering spaces are:
    • in front of/behind the door at least 132 cm x 190 cm;
    • in front of the toilet 200 cm x 178 cm;
    • in front of the washbasin at least 200 cm x 200 cm;
    • left of the toilet 50 cm x 73 cm and right of the toilet 114 cm x 73 cm.
  • There are handles which can be folded up on the right and left of the toilet.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • An alarm trigger is present.

  • There is no menu in large print or Braille.
  • There are guided tours offered for people with visual impairments and blind people. A reservation in advance is necessary.
