Nature discovery trail Moor Safari

Description

An approx. 1.2 km long circular trail suitable for wheelchairs through a mysterious moor landscape. The barrier-free nature trail was created to open up new and unusual perspectives in nature for wheelchair users. Recreation, experience and adventure are in the foreground.  Attention and interest are to be aroused.

The nature adventure trail extends over a length of approx. 1.2 km and begins at the Aschau Moor Outdoor Swimming Pool, where a spacious parking lot is also available. This trail is also particularly suitable for guests with walking disabilities and is popular with wheelchair users. At the starting point there is an information board where you can get an overview of the offered nature experiences in words and pictures. At each station you will also find short notes in German and English, which should help to draw attention and interest to remarkable natural phenomena on site. The prerequisite is that you stay on the path, leave no litter behind and do not damage any plants.
