  • There is a marked parking space for people with disabilities in the underground car park (parking area size: 350 cm x 500 cm). From the underground car park, access to elevator 1 on the left is only via steps, elevator 1 leads to the reception. Elevator 2 is steplessly accessible and leads to the conference area/conference center and to the rooms, but not to the reception.
  • The path ("Obere Kanalstr.") in front of the hotel, the restaurant "Maximilians" and the conference area/conference center is easy to walk and drive on.
  • Access to the hotel, the restaurant "Maximilians" and the conference area/conference center is stepless (max. door threshold of 1 cm).
  • There are three steps between the hotel entrance and the reception as well as elevators 1. Alternatively, a mobile ramp can be installed (2 m long, 75 cm wide, with a gradient of 26 %).
  • All evaluated rooms that can be used by the guest are at ground level or accessible via elevators or ramps. The only exception is "Maximilian's" beer garden, which can only be reached via steps.
  • The conference area/conference center is accessible via elevator 2 (as an alternative to stairs) or from "Obere Kanalstr.".
  • All evaluated passageways/doors are at least 80 cm wide (exception: sanitary room door in room 121).
  • The reception counter is 122 cm high. There is another, equivalent possibility of communication while sitting.
  • In the restaurant "Maximilians" and in the breakfast pavilion (1st floor) there are wheelchair accessible tables.
  • There are no public toilets designed for people with disablities.

Room 218

  • The room is a single room.
  • The movement areas are
  • in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 130 cm x 150 cm;
  • to the left of the bed 0 cm x 200 cm;
  • to the right of the bed 200 cm x 200 cm.
  • The bed is 53 cm high.

Bathroom

  • The movement areas in the bathroom are: in front of the sink 200 cm x 78 cm; in front of the WC 150 cm x 90 cm; to the left of the WC 17 cm x 54 cm; to the right of the WC 86 cm x 54 cm.

WC / shower

  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC.
  • There is a grab bar to the left of the WC. 
  • There is a folding grab bar to the right of the WC.
  • The shower is accessible without steps. 
  • The shower area is 78 cm x 150 cm.
  • There are grab rails in the shower.

  • Assistance dogs are allowed.
  • The entrance areas (hotel and restaurant) are not visually rich in contrast and cannot be recognized by a tactile change of floor covering.
  • The entrance to the conference area is visually rich in contrast and recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.
  • Stairs are not designed with visually or tactile high-contrast edges. Handrails are available (exception: at the steps to "Maximilian's" beer garden).
  • There is no information in Braille or prismatic writing.
  • The menu of the restaurant "Maximilian" is designed in plain and contrasting font.
  • Aids offered: reading aids (reading glasses, magnifying glasses)

  • There is no audio induction loop.
  • In the event of an acoustic alarm, no visually perceptible flashing light or flashing signal appears.
  • In elevators 1 (left elevator between underground car park, reception, upper floor; right elevator between reception, upper floor) the confirmation of an emergency call is only audible, in elevator 2 (between underground car park, conference area, upper floor) there is no emergency call. Alternatively, there are staircases.
  • There are tables with bright and glare-free lighting on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that restrict the field of vision.
  • There are seating areas with low background noises
  • There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
  • Free WiFi access is available.
  • The ringing or knocking on the door is not indicated by a flashing signal which can be perceived in all rooms.
