• There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities (space size: 350 cm x 500 cm). 
• The surface of the path is low vibration and easy to walk and drive on. The parking lot is 90 m away from the entrance.
• There is a bus stop (city bus) available in 62 m distance. 
• The step-free path from the bus stop to the entrance is 60 m long. It is easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 6% over a distance of 15m. 
• The building is accessible without steps via the main entrance. 
• All rooms and facilities that can be used and elevated for guests are accessible without steps or via elevators. 
• The elevator cabs are at least 109 cm x 209. 
• All doors/passages usable and elevated by the guest are at least 90 cm wide.
• Counters are 75 cm high at the lowest point. There is another, equivalent means of communication while seated.

Public toilets for people with disabilities

• The toilet door can be opened with a Euro-key.
•  The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of/behind the door, in front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 150 cm x 139 cm;
  left and right of the toilet at least 90 cm x 69 cm. 
• The toilet can be accessed from the right and left.
• There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rails can be flipped-up
• The sink is wheelchair compatible.
• The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.

• Assistance dogs (companion dogs, guide dogs for the blind, etc.) may be brought along.
• The entrance area is visually contrasting to the surroundings.
• All raised areas that can be used by guests are well lit, i.e. bright and glare-free. 
• A guidance system with floor indicators is in place. 
• Signage is designed in legible lettering. There is good visual contrast between the lettering/pictogram and the background. 
• Information for orientation is available in Braille. 
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically, e.g., by an intercom system. Signage is also available in Braille. The stopping position is announced by voice. 
• Stairs in the building have visually contrasting edges at least on the first and last steps.  Handrails are provided on both sides.
