Country hotel and tavern "Beim Has'n"

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility tested - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.   

• There are two parking lots available. Parking lot 1 is located near the main entrance (no designated parking spaces for people with disabilities). Parking lot 2 is located near the side entrance. Two designated parking spaces for people with disabilities are available there (space size 350 cm x 500 cm; distance to the side entrance approx. 20 m).
• The bus stop "Rimsting Ort" is about 150 m away from the Landhotel.
• The width of the main entrance door is 118 cm, access to the building is via a 3 cm high threshold.
• The width of the side entrance door is 100 cm, access to the building is step-free (door threshold with a height of 1.5 cm). From there you can get to the staircase or elevator to the rooms and reception.
• All rooms usable by the guest are accessible at ground level or via the elevator (elevator car size 110 cm x 140 cm). The controls in the elevator are not located on a horizontal control panel.
• Doors and passageways are at least 89 cm wide.
• Tables in the breakfast room are accessible by wheelchair. 
• The restaurant is accessible via two steps with a step height of 15 cm or a ramp with a slope of 6% over a distance of 100 cm. Access is via a 3 cm high door threshold. Wheelchair accessible tables are available.

Room 110 (double room)

• The manoeuvring space in front of immobile furnishings is 144 cm x 144 cm.
• The manoeuvring spaces next to the bed are:
  to the left 68 cm x 204 cm,
  on the right 165 cm x 204 cm. 
• The bed is 47 cm high.
• The manoeuvring spacesin the bathroom are:
  in front of the sink 188 cm x 154 cm;
  in front of the WC 222 cm x 143 cm;
  to the left of the WC 33 cm x 52 cm;
  to the right of the WC 203 cm x 52 cm 
• There are grab bars on both sides of the WC, folding up on the right side. 
• The washbasin is wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of less than 30 cm. 
• The shower is accessible without steps. 
• The shower / shower area is 100 cm x 120 cm.
• There are grab bars in the shower. 
• A shower seat is available or can be provided if needed (fixed, folding, hook-in or mobile and stable).

Room 111 (double room)

• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 168 cm x 200 cm;
  to the left of the bed 168 cm x 170 cm;
  to the right of the bed 74 cm x 204 cm.
• The bed is 47 cm high. 
• The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
  in front of the sink 146 cm x 228 cm;
  in front of the toilet 228 cm x 146 cm;
  to the left of the toilet 33 cm x 51 cm;
  to the right of the toilet 205 cm x 51 cm.
• There are grab rails on both sides of the toilet.
• The right handhold can be folded up. 
• The washbasin is wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of less than 30 cm. 
• The shower is accessible without steps. 
• The shower / shower area is 100 cm x 120 cm.
• There are grab bars in the shower. 
• A shower seat is available or can be provided if needed (fixed, foldable, hook-in or mobile and stable).

Public WC for people with disabilities 

• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of the sink 162 cm x 104 cm;
  in front of the toilet 162 cm x 104 cm;
  to the left of the toilet 96 cm x 52 cm;
  to the right of the toilet 28 cm x 52 cm.
• There is a grab bar to the left of the toilet. 
• The washbasin is wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of less than 30 cm.

• Assistance dogs are allowed.
• External paths mainly are rich in contrast or have tactilely detectable sidewalk boundaries.
• The main entrance is visually rich in contrast and can be recognized by a tactile change in the floor covering.
• The house signs are designed in clearly legible, contrasting font.
• There are no carousel or rotary doors.
• Rooms and corridors are brightly lit.
• There are usually no obstacles, e.g. objects protruding into the path/room are present.
• In the elevator, an emergency call is confirmed audibly.
• Staircases are not visually rich in contrast. A one-sided handrail is available.
• The menu of the restaurant is not designed in straightforward and contrast-rich writing.
• Aids offered: reading aids (reading glasses, magnifiers)

• There is no audio induction loop.
• In the elevator, an emergency call is confirmed audibly. Alternatively, there are staircases.
• In the event of an audible alarm, no visually perceptible flashing or flashing signal appears.
• In the breakfast room and guesthouse, there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting on which there are no lamps or hanging that restrict the field of vision.
• There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
• Free WIFI access is available.
• Knocking at the room door and the ringing of the telephone are not indicated by a flashing signal.

• Name and logo of the establishment are clearly recognisable from the outside.
• Business cards/brochures with address and telephone number of the host are visibly displayed at the reception desk.
• The destination of the path usually is within sight or there are signs at a constantly visible distance.
• There is no information in easy language.
• There is no menu with pictures of the dishes, the dishes are not presented visibly (buffet, bar).
• Information is not displayed with pictograms or pictures (exception: signage of the WC).
• There is no colored or pictorial guidance system available.
