Art Trail and "Tatzelwurm" Bridge in Essing
Description
Art trail in Essing with Europe's largest wooden bridge, the Tatzelwurm.
The small art park along the Restaltmühl incorporates the Jura landscape and the historic Essing backdrop. Along the Restaltmühl in Essing, an art trail entitled "Art on Rock and River" has been established, which focuses on the history of Essing and its unique landscape.
Hidden cultural assets have been reconstructed in an artistic way and made accessible in an alternative form. In addition, the uniqueness of Essing's scenery is included. This opens up a new way for viewers to engage with their culture and cultural heritage and to identify more strongly with the cultural history of their own homeland. The art trail consists of three components: Trigrams and Cult Place by Werner Engelmann, Motif Benches by Willi Hengge and Changing Sculptures. The art trail is freely accessible, admission is free.
