Description
The Königsseer Fußweg start at the Tourist-Info Berchtesgaden and leads along the Königsseer Ache to the south shore of the Königsee. In 2016, the path was awarded Germany's most beautiful hiking trail in the category "Land & Nature" by the Deutscher Volksportverband DVV. Furthermore, the trail is also part of the premium hiking trail SalzAlpenSteig, which leads from Lake Chiemsee to Lake Königssee and all the way to Lake Hallstatt.
