Description

The KletterZ climbing and bouldering center in Weyarn offers climbing and bouldering courses for young and old as well as special workshops and team events.

The climbing and bouldering center in Weyarn is the ideal place for climbing and bouldering enthusiasts. Whether beginner or advanced, the center offers various climbing courses for children and adults. Children also have the opportunity to celebrate their birthday at the KletterZ climbing and bouldering center in Weyarn. Yoga for climbers is also a bookable course, as are courses for school classes and kindergarten groups. The center also offers courses especially for people with disabilities under the "H3 mit Handicap Hoch Hinaus" initiative.

  • There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm).
  • The path from the car park to the entrance is 15 m long. It is not easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 4 % over a distance of 5 m.
  • The building is steplessly accessible.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible at ground level or via an elevator.
  • The elevator cabin measures 110 cm x 140 cm.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 81 cm wide.
  • The cash desk is at its lowest point 94 cm high. There is another, equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.
  • There are wheelchair accessible tables available in the bistro (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

Public toilet for people with disabilities

  • The movement areas are:
    in front of the toilet and of the washbasin at least 148 cm x 150 cm;
    to the left and right of the WC 95 cm x 54 cm.
  • There is a grab rail on the right side of the toilet. The grab rail cannot be flipped-up. 
  • The sink has limited access.
  • The mirror is not visible while sitting.
  • An alarm trigger is available.

  • Assistance dogs aren´t allowed.
  • The entrance is visually rich in contrast and recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering. 
  • At least the first and last steps have visually rich-in-contrast edges on the horizontal and vertical surfaces of the steps.
  • The signage is not designed in clearly legible and contrasting font. 
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly. The operating controls are not visually rich in contrast but tactilely detectable.
  • Alternatively stairs are available. 
  • There is no information in Braille or prismatic writing.

  • The alarm (e.g. fire alarm) is clearly visible in the entire building/object.
  • There is no audio induction loop.
  • The emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly, but not visually.

  • In the bistro there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting. There are tables where there are no lamps standing or hanging that restrict the field of vision or eye contact. 
  • There are not tables with low background noises.
