Little Eden Tropical House at the "Rennsteig"

Description

Klein-Eden is the name of the tropical house under whose glass roof exotic fruits are being researched and produced in a climate-friendly way in their cultivation on an area of around 3,500 m² with the help of industrial waste heat.

In Klein Eden, many fruits such as papaya, passion fruit, star fruit, tropical citrus varieties, guavas and much more are offered fresh, but also "spices" or seasoning ingredients such as lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, ginger, galangal and co. round off the offer. The certified organic and sustainably grown fruits, vegetables and spices are available to visitors during the harvest season, so it is a good idea to contact us in advance to find out what can be harvested. If you wish, you can also look over the shoulders of the creative minds and scientists at work here and take a guided tour to find out how all this is possible.
