Youth Hostel Nürnberg

Description

Sleep, study, take a holiday where knights lived hundreds of years ago? High above, in the middle of Nuremberg, sits the city's landmark - the castle with its imperial stables. Here lies our oldest, but also one of the most modern youth hostels in Germany with its 93 rooms.

Living history - we are in the most beautiful youth hostel in the world. Did you know that the history of the castle dates back to the 12th century? The Culture of this Youth Hostel is part of the Kaiserburg and is situated high above the city. Although wheelchair users have step-free access to the building and all rooms, help is always needed to negotiate the climb from the city centre to the youth hostel.

Experience community - To enable people with walking disabilities to enjoy their stay without hindrance, this youth hostel is equipped to meet the needs of wheelchair users who can move their wheelchairs themselves.

Our house offers:

  • Occupancy with max. 4 wheelis possible.
  • 2 rooms with a total of 4 beds for wheelchairs
  • 2 handicapped accessible showers/WC's
  • Lift available, wheelchair users can reach all common and seminar rooms. In addition, 3 disabled WCs in the house.
  • Buffet accessible by wheelchair, tables in the dining room accessible by wheelchair.

Music in the "joints" - we offer appropriately equipped rehearsal rooms.
