Youth Hostel Mittenwald

Description

A sky full of violins above the Karwendel massif

The view sweeps over a splendour of flowers on hummocky meadows: Lady's slipper, gentian and alpine rose are all aglow. Zugspitze and Karwendel make this idyll perfect. Mittenwald, the highest climatic health resort in the Bavarian Alps, means relaxation for body and soul. Just 4 kilometres from Mittenwald you will find our Ganghofer Youth Hostel with 110 beds. We are the ideal starting point for discovering the breathtaking landscape. With our diverse range of activities, we are also an "Alpine Study Site".  You will learn to understand and love nature during our educationally guided adventure programmes.
