Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report at the end of the text.

  • There are six parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 250 cm x 450 cm). The car park and the path between the car park and the entrance are not easy to walk and drive on (distance to the entrance approx. 30 m).
  • The entrance is steplessly accessible (threshold of 2 cm).
  • The reception counter is 100 cm high. There is another, equivalent possibility of communication while sitting.
  • There are no rotating or revolving doors.
  • There are doors or passageways in the sanitary area with a door width of less than 70 cm.
  • All evaluated rooms on the ground floor that can be used by the guest can be reached at ground level. There is no elevator.
  • There are no wheelchair accessible tables at the dining rooms.
  • A shower chair can be provided if required.

Room No. 4 with washbasin (multi-bedroom)

  • The manoeuvring space in the bedroom is 150 cm x 150 cm in front of essential immobile furnishings, 200 cm x 200 cm to the left of the bed, to the right the bed stands next to the wall.
  • The maximum height of the bed is 47 cm.
  • The washbasin has limited wheelchair access.
  • The mirror cannot be seen while standing or sitting.
  • Guests in room no. 4 use the public showers on the ground floor. The door width to the showers is 68 cm, the height of the upper edge of the shower tray to the floor at ground level is 24 cm. There are no grab handles in the shower.

Public toilet on the ground floor (also toilet for guests of rooms 3 and 4)

  • There is a unisex toilet available.
  • The movement areas are: in front of the sink 200 cm x 131 cm; in front of the WC 160 cm x 150 cm; to the left of the WC 26 cm x 59 cm; to the right of the WC 97 cm x 59 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC.
  • The right handhold can be folded up. 
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of less than 30 cm.
  • The mirror is visible in sitting and standing position.

  • Assistance dogs are allowed.
  • The main entrance is visually contrasted to the surroundings and can be recognized by a tactile change of floor covering.
  • The operating elements are tactilely detectable almost everywhere and are predominantly visually rich in contrast.
  • The paths are visually rich in contrast everywhere.
  • Almost everywhere the walls can be used as orientation aids.
  • All evaluated areas available to the guest are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • Indoors and outdoors there is no uninterrupted guidance system (e.g. floor indicators).
  • The information for orientation is available in easily legible font, but cannot be tactilely detected (e.g. in Braille).

  • There is no visually perceptible alarm in the building.
  • There is no audio induction loop.
  • WiFi is available for communication with the service staff.
  • In the dining room, there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps that restrict the field of vision or eye contact. There are no seating areas with low background noises.
  • In the evaluated rooms, there is no free electrical outlet near the bed.
  • Knocking at the room door is not indicated by a flashing signal.
  • Information is available in written form.

  • The name and logo of the company are clearly recognizable from the outside.
  • Business cards/brochures with address and telephone number of the host are visibly displayed at the reception desk.
  • The destinations of the routes are usually within sight.
  • There is no uninterrupted guidance system. There is no colored or pictorial guidance system.
  • There is no information in easy language. Information is displayed sporadically with pictograms.
