Youth Hostel Castle Wernfels

Description

Castle fun with wellness character - Be a knight and princess for once: What child doesn't dream of that? Conquer Wernfels Castle, the only youth hostel with its own heated outdoor pool.

Where once princes resided, Germany's most popular youth hostel opens its doors in the Franconian town of Spalt. Welcome to Wernfels Castle, one of our DJH family youth hostels with 200 beds in 66 rooms

The right programme for everyone - How about a hands-on history lesson? "Raise the curtain" is the motto of our natural open-air stage. Here theatre groups enjoy their rehearsals in a dreamlike ambience. Ask about our programmes with the "curriculum supporting" seal of approval for primary schools.

Enjoying the community without barriers:
To enable people with walking difficulties to enjoy their stay without hindrance, these youth hostels are equipped to meet the needs of wheelchair users who can move their wheelchairs themselves.

Our tip: Youth hostels cannot always be correctly assigned to the terms "wheelchair accessible" and "wheelchair-friendly". Before you decide on a stay, ask the hostel team for detailed advice.

Only 1 wheelchair user can be accommodated as not all rooms are wheelchair accessible. Level access, a lift and a bedroom with a bathroom suitable for the disabled are available.
