Hoheneck Castle Youth Education Center

Description

The youth education center Burg Hoheneck is a seminar and conference center (mainly for groups from youth work). It is not open to the public.

Burg Hoheneck has been the youth education center of the Nuremberg City Kreisjugendring of the Bayerischer Jugendring (public cooperation) since April 1984. It is part of the network of youth education centers in Bavaria. The castle is picturesquely situated above the town of Ipsheim in the Aisch valley, about 50 km northwest of Nuremberg. The historical ambience of Hoheneck Castle offers a unique learning environment. Our offer is divided into two basic areas: With an extensive range of seminars, we address young people, volunteers and professionals working with children and young people. In addition, we offer seminars on selected topics during the week for middle school, remedial school and vocational school classes. (Youth) associations, clubs, school classes or organized groups can use Burg Hoheneck as a conference center. Within this framework, it is possible to independently hold seminars, conferences, workshops or class trips in our rooms.
