All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - accessible for people with walking disabilities and partially accessible for wheelchair users".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

  • Eleven parking spaces for people with disabilities are available at the car park in Schönau. 
  • You can get to the Königsseeschifffahrt boat landing stage via Seestraße - approx. 350 m.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests on St. Bartholomew are steplessly accessible at ground level or via ramps.
  • The ramp to the church has a maximum gradient of 5,3 % and a total length of 4 m.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.

St. Bartholomew information point with exhibition in the Jägerhaus  

  • The ramp to the entrance information point has a maximum gradient of 5 % and a total length of 12 m.
  • The exhibits and stations are predominately visible when seated.
  • The information on the exhibits and stations is predominately readable when seated. 

St. Bartholomew circular route 

  • The circular walk is 2 km long. The starting and end point is the St. Bartholomew boat landing stage.
  • The trail is signposted throughout.
  • The path has a water-bound surface and is easy to walk and drive on.
  • The maximum gradient is 5% over 10 metres.
  • There are seats (benches) available.

Public toilet for people with disabilities in the Jägerhaus

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 200 cm x 149 cm;
    left and right of the toilet at leasst 90 cm x 70 cm.
  • There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rails can be flipped-up.
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible.
  • An alarm trigger is available.

Public toilet for people with disabilities (sanitary building)

  • The path between the boat landing stage and the public toilet is 230 m long. It is easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 10 % over a distance of 5 m.
  • The path between the information point and the public toilet is 100 m long. It is easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 3 % over a distance of 20 m.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 200 cm x 200 cm;
    left and right of the toilet at leasst 90 cm x 70 cm.
  • There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rails can be flipped-up.
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible.
  • An alarm trigger is available.
