Description

The information centre in the Bruckstadel, with an integrated event room, is run by the city of Dingolfing and the district of Dingolfing-Landau.

The information centre offers comprehensive services. The building, which is over 250 years old, serves as a central hub for information on leisure activities, events as well as city and museum tours. The building as well as the souvenir shop and brochures are accessible at ground level. Furthermore, a wheelchair-accessible WC is available on the ground floor. The event room on the upper floor is used for lectures, exhibitions, concerts, readings and seminars, among other things, and is accessible by lift.

  • There are two parking spaces for people with disabilities. One parking space is at least 300 cm wide and 500 cm long.
  • The parking space is 90 m from the entrance.
  • There is a local transport stop (bus stop Fisheries) at 34 m. 
  • The entrance/access to the building is step-free (max. 2 cm threshold, if necessary via a ramp). 
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used and raised for the guest are accessible without steps or via a lift. 
  • The lift cabin is 108 cm x 135 cm.
  • Passages and doors are usually 90 cm and at least 84 cm wide. 
  • The info counter is 101 cm high at its lowest point. 
  • The information materials are mainly visible, perceptible or recognisable while seated. 
  • The information on the materials is mainly legible while sitting.

Public toilet for people with disabilities, ground floor

  • The door is at least 93 cm wide.
  •  The manoeuvring spaces are:  
    in front of the washbasin 195 cm x 153 cm;
    in front of the toilet 195 cm x 110 cm;
    to the left of the toilet 14 cm x 71 cm;
    to the right of the toilet 133 cm x 71 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
  • The right grab rail can be flipped-up.
  • The sink has limited access. 
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting. 
  • There is an alarm trigger.

  • There is a local public transport stop (Bushaltestelle Fischerei) at 34 m.
  • Assistance dogs (companion dogs, guide dogs for the blind, etc.) may be brought into all relevant areas/rooms of the establishment/offer. 
  • Glass doors are marked with safety markings at heights of 40-70 cm and 120-160 cm. 
  • The entrance area is recognisable by a tactilely perceptible change of flooring and visually contrasting with the surroundings. 
  • There are no visually contrasting or tactilely detectable floor indicators in the interior or exterior areas. 
  • All raised areas that can be used by the guest (entrance area, cash desk/counter, bedrooms, corridors, hallways) are well lit, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the lift is confirmed acoustically. The stopping position is not announced by voice.
  • Stairs have handrails on both sides. The stairs are not designed with high contrast.
  • All raised areas that can be used by guests (entrance area, counters, corridor, etc.) are well lit, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • The signage is designed with legible lettering. There is a good visual contrast between the lettering/pictogram and the background.

  • An outgoing emergency call in the lift is confirmed acoustically, e.g. by an intercom system.
