About Accessible Holidays
From Franconia to Upper Bavaria, from the Allgäu to the Bavarian Forest: under the title “Tourism for All”, you will find numerous tourism providers that make a accessible holiday in Bavaria a truly relaxing experience.
We present transport options, accommodation and leisure activities in Bavaria’s stunning natural setting, as well as cultural offerings – from folk festivals to theatres – that are all accessible and can be experienced by travellers with disabilities.
You will also find links to umbrella organisations and (regional) associations that can help you plan your holiday and leisure time in Bavaria with further information and tips.
Nationwide designation system
Numerous businesses have had their offerings reviewed according to the nationwide standardised information and designation system for barrier-free offers “Reisen für Alle” (“Travelling for All”). The necessary information regarding accessibility for guests was recorded by trained surveyors for all groups of people (e.g. mobility impaired, sensory impaired) in each establishment, or at each provider, respectively.
In addition, at least one member of staff in each case is familiar with the special requirements of different groups of guests. The thoroughly checked and detailed information can be viewed before departure so that all guests can assess for themselves which offers are most suitable for their individual needs when planning a trip.
